Academia Latinoamericana occupies a beautiful historical 19th century colonial house. It is located on one of the many small plazas in Cusco, called Limacpampa Grande, right behind one of the most important sites from pre-Colombian Cusco, the Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun). The building houses 17 classrooms on two floors, an indoor patio, video room, auditorium, entertainment room, wireless internet access and an interior plaza.

ACCESS TO EMAIL / INTERNET

Academia Latinoamericana is 100% wireless and students can take advantage of this wonderful WI-FI service. You only need to bring your own laptop and have unlimited internet access for FREE!

There is email / internet service available at the school for a reasonable price ($ 0.50 for 30 minutes) and there are also several reasonably priced internet cafes close to the school and all over the city.

HOMESTAYS IN CUSCO - PERU

Our host families belong to Peru’s middle class, although you should bear in mind that living standards in Peru are generally lower than in Europe or North America. Family homes are usually located no more than a 10 minute walk or bus ride from the school. If you choose to stay with a family, you should recognize that a certain degree of flexibility will be required to adjust to Peruvian customs and way of life. You get a private room, unless otherwise requested. There are 2 meals per day included at the host family (breakfast and lunch). A few families offer a private bath for their students, but usually the bathroom is shared with the family or with one or two other students.

Airport pickup: Upon request your host family will pick you up from the airport. Extra fee: $ 20.

Apartment rental: There are inexpensive accommodations (apart-hotels, not apartments) that give the school special discounts.
