School facilities in our Cusco Spanish School

The Academia Latinoamericana occupies a beautiful and historical 19^th century colonial home. It is located on one of the many small plazas in Cusco, called Limacpampa Grande 565, right behind one of the most important sites from pre-Colombian Cusco, the Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun). The building houses 17 classrooms on two floors, an indoor patio, a video room, an auditorium, an entertainment room, wireless internet access and an interior plaza.

HOMESTAYS

Our host families belong to Peru´s middle class, although students should bear in mind that living standards in Peru are generally lower than in Europe or North America. Family homes are located in neighborhoods usually no more than a 10 minute walk or bus ride from school. Participants choosing to stay with a family should recognize that a certain degree of flexibility will be required to adjust to the Peruvian customs and way of life. You will get a private room, unless otherwise requested. There are 2 meals per day included at the host family (breakfast and lunch). A few families offer a private bath for their students, but usually the bathroom is shared with the family or with 1 or 2 other students.

Airport pickup: Upon request your host family will pick you up from the airport. Extra fee: $ 20.

Apartment rental: There are inexpensive accommodations (apart-hotels, not apartments) that give the school special discounts.
